yes u read the title right, i wanna talk abt my boi oliver. and no it's not oliver from fpe, im talking abt oliver the VOCALOID, my fav vocaloid (❁´◡`❁)
'k but why u wanna talk abt him?' cuz i bet that ur dont anything abt him or js confused abt olie, so im gonna tell u a story:
how i became an oliver fan!!
oh uhh if u wanna know abt what vsynth i was a fan of before i got fond of olie, look in this post!!! so uhh basically, one day, i was on my TV, watching a yt vid abt "vocaloids updated with ai vbs". oliver was there too. i liked how his voice sounded a bit british yet a bit soprano in the dinky dink demo (tho that song is actually pretty old), besides the v3 charm he had (compared to the awfully clean sound of his maghni ai version). but the PV for the demo? it RLLY showcases oliver's personality: silly, cute, passionate, a bit clumsy and ofc: innocent.
then, i got very curious abt olie (yes, this is how i call him, affectionately (｡♡‿♡｡)), so, i clicked off the vid, and went to the yt search thingy with the remote control to search for oliver vocaloid stuff, and.. there was some oliver-related content that i liked (memes and also that vid where they're tuning oliver to sound like similar to puppycat), and i liked it! regardless of how many horror songs oliver has (like "amygdala's ragdoll" by ghost and pals, and "the medical anomaly" by ripproducer), like, i still like him!!!
besides that he's basically my comfort character rn. no, it's not bc he has bandages, it's bc his voice is so soft and like a child it's almost soothing. and like i think i gave him lots of lore (for example, olie had a bandage but he got sick of it so he tried taking it off multiple times and it kept coming back - let's js say teleportation and portals exist in olie's universe!!! - till he FINALLY got rid of it once and 4 all, according to my unvale writing abt olie btw) and headcanons abt him (tho powerfx said olie's 12, i headcanon him as a 14/15 yo) to the point.. guess in the pic..

note: before i even used to ship myself with olie i used to ship him with FUKASE (yeah oliekase)
it's so sad that he got discontinued (powerfx did him and his parents - which are presumidably big al and sweet ann - dirty am i right?? pls dont laugh), but at least bee and the puppycat kept him alive (i mentioned puppycat earlier right???)- OH WAIT. i might use start using olie in my next songs (maybe also for an album project i’ve been working on.. {「∆」︵「∆」} ).. even tho i’ll have to use ryone yami for his voice (maybe roleplaying isnt bad at all).
ok uhh when i became and oliver fan i wanted to look for some pfp of olie.. in pinterest (im sosrry, but i wasnt aware that pinterest has some ppl who REUPLOADS art that aint theirs without their credit ;_;), and i found one that was kinda cute, which was kinda like ts (p.s: i had to recreate it in my style bc the original pic wasnt mine and yknow copyright, so srry if it looks a bit rough):
i wanted to keep that image, BUUT i ended up swapping it with some fanart i made of olie (all by myself!!) all bc of copyright. id use those drawings by js taking pics of them with my phone camera (bc most of them were made of a bunch of sketchbooks). yes, some of my early-ish oliver drawings were a bit rough, specially bc of his hair, besides that every time i tried drawing his hair he'd look like a GIRL—i end up taking too long js to get it right!! but after i tried other ways to draw his hair and tried to give him some custom outfits (i usually dont get bound to his 'official' design), olie kinda looked better.
(yes this was the pfp that i ended up using, till i did other drawings in my sketchbook and changed the pfp multiple times) as i was saying, olie was looking kinda good, at least for the traditional art, bc for the digital ones?? i needed to choose other colors for his hair and stuff, so i did that. till the design got a lil bit complex in the color palette to the point i didnt even know what color was for (except the skin color ofc). i still have this problem unfortunately soo
one thing that i used to struggle with was to let other ppl know abt olie and perhaps... introducing them to oliver songs??? bc i didnt want to feel like i was screaming out in a void with no one else listening. and that person i needed to introduce to olie was my multifandomist bff: geo. ok, ik u might wanna say "ok, but what does 'multifandomist' mean?" well, she's in the vocaloid community, in the osc-object show community- in the murder drones community, initially in the dandy's wrld community, in the fpe community - oh yeah i mentioned fpe oliver, right???), in the robotboy community, and now hyperfocused.. in happy tree friends. yes, happy tree friends. bc there was a point in my life when i was to do FANART of flippy and htf stuff for her!!!

she was also the reason i have htf stickers. OMG I ALMOST 4GOT ABT SUSHI PACK. and she's a yumeshipper too (she ships herself with ROBOTBOY. and no, it's not normal robotboi, it's SUPER-ACTIVATED ROBOTBOI)!!!!

well uhh i remember that there was a day i was at school, during school break (yknow when u have to eat ur lunch), she asked me what was my fav vocaloid??? in that day i told her abt the cryptonloids. and len was my fave. and also kaito- BUUUUT a day later, i changed my mind and told her in school break again: my favourite vocaloid was oliver. and i bet that she didnt know anything abt him. bc i mentioned oliver from fpe, right?? i think she thought "no oliver from fpe is NO VOCALOID". so then i mentioned amygdala's ragdoll, right?? she started singing along.. i didnt know all the lyrics... ok, we were still in school smh and like i showed her a pic of olie that was LITERALLY MY OLD PFP. before i changed it to actual oliver fanart made by me btw. and uhh guess what?? in the day she was in therapy (which is when she sent me a pic with her therapists i think), she ALSO sent me pic of her wallpaper she was using in the chat. and it wasnt ANY wallpaper, it was an OLIVER THEMED WALLPAPER. and yeah looks like my job wasnt a waste of time after all.. (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+ oh yeh and that will of introducing her to olie became a big goal i even got her to do some fanart of oliver for me btw!!!! and i even sent her some talkloid bs that had olie in it (which wasnt made by me AT ALL)
uhh this is basically the story of how i became a fan of olie (not much like a #1 fan, bc olie's first vb got released in 2011, which is when i got born (╯︵╰,))
