why i post in different places (including this reborn blog) instead of yt!
it was april of 2026. every single content creator i knew abt (ppl like sadieyayy and vampz - yes, these r the moots ik that make animation memes) were making april fools vids (for example, with some badly explained message like "guys im gonna quit yt forever bc ppl hate me now" till it comes to the "april fools!!" part).
and uhh i mentioned sadieyayy right? she didnt do THAT example i js got u, she basically took a fake oc from a previous april fools vid and she got them to expose her. that got her channel out of air bc i BET that yt thought sadie's problematic while it was actually an april fools joke.
like, that month wasnt good, bc everything felt samey for me (it was also tests' week), besides that sadie's situation was like bad news 4 me. and that social media wasnt being good on giving me dopamine
BUUT that melodrama would end, when easter came. and yknow easter's supposed to be happy happy, right??? bc it was supposed to be like that (even tho it wasnt sunny), till later in the afternoon i was checking my emails and like i saw one from the yt team. what they said? "bc of imposed laws in ur region, u will have to link ur acc to a parent to create or maintain a channel and if not done so, ur channel will be hidden in 30 days.". reading that email pissed me off a bit, bc i had a MV to finish. but aftr al, i realised that even if i did some updates abt it, nobody - i said NOBODY - gave a f*ck abt it. so yeah i basically had to give up on that project bc of the digital eca (or 'eca digital' in my main language).
but they actually lied, my channel actually got hidden a MONTH later, so yeah i shouldnt be trusting the yt team anymore. and they also said that my alt channels (like @alvaroisnowtakenofc) would get hidden too, but guess what?? it's still active!!!!
and it was also the case with my d34d brawl stars-related channel:
so a while later (days, months later after that crashout i had with that email i would delete) i tried finding some alternatives to yt and probably also to twitter (yes, bc i thought that community posts were a way to copy twitter without any 'thread' thingy). and i did: odysee, threads.. i logged into those sites and started posting there too. then i remembered abt this blog.. yeah, that's why i came back here.
buut the reasons why i left that yt channel to die was bc i'd either have a very cringe idea that i'd def not use or get a very crazy idea that i liked initially but then starts getting its toll on me and then i scrap it.. yeah
i think it was also like my yt channel (and expectations i had) were all on my shoulders like a burden. and im glad to not have that anymore, or else i wouldve done idk what.
and it was all bc i got a new musical obsession.. over underscores. yes, her music kinda saved me from getting mad over a f*cking channel, and it kinda got me inspo for new music :)))))
moral of the story: music saved my life AND sanity ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪
